This is our first blog post, and we figured there’s no better way to kick things off than by introducing ourselves properly. This won’t take long, but by the end of this, you’ll know who we are, what we do, and why we think what we do here at GMP Vitamins is genuinely different from anything else you’ll find in Orange County.
Who We Are
GMP Vitamins has been open in the Fullerton Community for over 30 years. We started with a simple idea: that people deserve access to real, expert health guidance without having to navigate the overwhelming, often misleading world of big-box supplement stores or faceless online retailers.
At the heart of everything we do here at GMP Vitamins is the founder and owner, Robert Kanter, ND. He’s a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor with over 30 years of experience helping people feel their best through natural means. Robert didn’t open GMP Vitamins to sell supplements. He opened it because he genuinely believes that when people have the right information about their own health, wellness is just around the corner.
Walk into our store on any given day, and you’ll find Robert behind the counter, not a paycheck-driven associate reading the back of a label. You’ll get a credentialed Naturopath who will listen to your problems, ask what’s wrong, and suggest things that may help you get to the bottom of your issues.
That’s been our approach and Robert’s driving force for over three decades. It hasn’t and won’t change.
What Makes Us Different - Live Cell Analysis
If you’ve never heard of Live Cell Analysis, you’re not alone. It’s one of the most unique wellness tools available anywhere in Orange County, and it happens to be Robert’s specialty.
Here’s how it works: a single small drop of blood is taken from your ring finger, it’s relatively painless, similar to a standard blood sugar test, and placed under a high-powered microscope. The results are projected onto a screen in real time, so you can follow along and ask questions as they arise. As the test is in progress, Robert will tell you what he sees and how he fixes certain issues with his regimen.
What can Live Cell reveal? Quite a bit, honestly. The size, shape, and behavior of your red blood cells can indicate nutritional deficiencies, immune system activity, oxidative stress, and overall cellular health. It’s not a medical diagnosis, but rather a powerful wellness tool that gives you insight into your body that most people have never had access to before.

We charge $50; no appointment is necessary, though you’re always welcome to book one. Walk-ins are also always welcome.

Quality you can verify. Every product on our shelves has been evaluated; we don’t carry products we don’t believe in or that are making the rounds on social media. We do carry hyped supplements, but only through companies we’ve worked with; we won't carry brands that appear overnight and are trending on TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook. We want to make sure the products we sell come from companies we have built relationships with, and we're comfortable recommending to you.
A real relationship. Our regulars have been coming to us for years, some for decades. They come back not because of a loyalty points program, but rather because they trust Robert and his guidance to accomplish their nutritional needs. That kind of relationship doesn’t exist in an online space. Robert is never too busy for any problem, big or small; he will dutifully listen and offer his guidance where applicable, while focusing on you and making sure you feel heard and cared for.

We’re located at 721 S Harbor Blvd in Fullerton, about 100 yards North of the Fullerton Costco. We’re open Monday through Saturday, 9 AM - 7 PM, and Sunday, 11 AM - 6 PM. Walk-ins are always welcome.
